Just like Crossfire Church as a whole, CC Kids is a place where children feel welcomed, known, and genuinely loved. We want kids to experience the same hospitality that adults do — a place where they’re valued, encouraged, and taught the truth in a way they can understand.
Our mission is simple:

A Place Kids are Safe
At CC Kids, your child’s safety is our first priority: All CC Kids volunteers complete a full background and safety screening process before serving. Our check-in procedure is set up to ensure proper safety standards: We ask parents to arrive 10 minutes early at check-in so we can greet your family and begin the process together. Each child receives a unique sticker, and the parent receives a matching sticker with a secure code—these must match at pick-up to ensure that only approved guardians leave with your child. We use a system modeled after the Planning Center Check‑Ins best-practices, where custom labels, trusted-person verification, and secure check-out procedures help keep your kids safe in every room and moment.

More Than Entertainment: While we make things fun, we don’t build CC Kids around games and gimmicks. Kids today are hungry for what’s real — and we want them to meet the real Jesus. That’s why everything we do points them to Him. Every lesson, activity, and conversation is designed to help kids know who God is, how much He loves them, and what it means to follow Him every day.
We don’t water things down. Kids deserve solid teaching too!
But we teach truth in simple, creative, and interactive ways that make sense for a child’s world — using stories, hands-on learning, prayer, and discussion.

Why We Use The Jesus Storybook Bible
We use the Jesus Storybook Bible Curriculum because it captures the heart of our church’s message:
Jesus is the center of everything.
What makes it so powerful is that it doesn’t treat Bible stories like little moral lessons or disconnected tales. Instead, it shows how every story whispers Jesus’ name, pointing to God’s great rescue plan from beginning to end.
This curriculum gives the kids an overview of the entire bible! Kids get to see the big picture — not just what God did back then, but what He’s doing now, in their lives too. With fun videos, interactive teaching, clear themes, and hands-on activities, it helps kids fall in love with Jesus in a way that sticks. Our goal is for them to become dedicated followers of Christ.
