“Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28
Celebrate Recovery in Slidell
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered ministry designed to help people experience healing and freedom from life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups. It is rooted in the truth that real recovery does not come from self-effort, but from surrendering our lives to the healing power of Jesus Christ.
At Celebrate Recovery, we walk through the eight recovery principles found in the Beatitudes and the Christ-centered 12 Steps, learning how God meets us in our brokenness and restores what sin, pain, and trauma have damaged.
Healing begins when we step out of isolation. In a safe and grace-filled environment, we share our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. As we do, we learn to receive God’s grace, turn our lives and wills over to Christ, and allow Him to bring lasting transformation—not just behavior change, but heart change.
The result is real life change.
Celebrate Recovery at Crossfire Church also includes Celebration Place, a Christ-centered recovery ministry for children, because healing and discipleship matter for the whole family.
We meet every Thursday night at Crossfire Church in Slidell. Worship begins at 6:45 pm, and step study groups meet throughout the week.

Why Celebrate Recovery Matters
While much of our men’s discipleship happens in church, we also do more personal discipleship throughout the year. This includes things like:
* Periodic men’s gatherings for prayer, teaching, and sharpening
* One-on-one discipleship
* Opportunities to serve with other men inside the church
This is one of the major focuses of the church, and we'll be doing more things in the future to help build up men in the Lord.

Why Men’s Ministry Matters in Slidell
We believe Celebrate Recovery is for anyone and everyone. The truth is, all of us are hurting in some way. There is no such thing as a “perfect” church, and healing cannot happen where masks are worn and pain is hidden.
Celebrate Recovery provides a place where you don’t have to pretend. It’s a place to come out of denial, lay down shame, and honestly face the areas of life that need Christ’s healing touch. Here, we learn to identify our hurts, release destructive patterns, surrender character defects, and replace lies with God’s truth.
As God heals us, we are not only restored—we are equipped to help others. What He gives to us, we are called to give away.
If you are looking for Celebrate Recovery in Slidell, we invite you to come as you are and discover the hope, healing, and freedom found in Christ.
