Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
1 Corinthians 16:13
Our Philosophy of Biblical Manhood
At Crossfire, we believe God created men on purpose. A man's manhood is not unimportant, nor is it interchangeable with a woman's femininity. They are different; created different, for different reasons. God created a man for a purpose that is manly.
Part of this purpose is to be strong in order to protect and in order to sacrifice. Some have summed up biblical manhood in this way: the joyful assumption of sacrificial responsibly.
In a world that tries to form men into something more androgynous, we strive to form men who lean into their masculine calling: who love their wives like Christ loved the Church, who raise their children with conviction, and who are willing to stand firm when culture shifts.
We see men’s discipleship not as a one-off event but as a long obedience in the same direction, where habits, holiness, and honor are cultivated over time.

Why Godly Men Matter in Slidell
Slidell and the wider Northshore needs men who will stand as anchors in their homes and communities.
Families thrive when fathers are present, faithful, and spiritually grounded. This is not just preaching hype; it's also a well established statistic (see statistics on the importance of fathers)
Churches thrive when men step into their God-given roles. Communities thrive when godly men live out the gospel in their workplaces,
neighborhoods, and friendships. We want to be part of God’s solution for strengthening households across Slidell: shaping men who walk with Christ and refuse to drift.
Our goal is to help you become a better man, husband, and father, as this is your primary calling in life.
