Core Doctrines
The following are the core doctrines of Crossfire Church, based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. Our teaching and ministry is rooted in, and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
God
We believe in one true and living God — infinite, eternal, holy, and sovereign over all things. He is perfect in wisdom, justice, goodness, and love. From Him and through Him and to Him are all things. He rules all creation according to His perfect will, and nothing exists apart from His sustaining hand. Scriptures: Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 40:28; Romans 11:36; Psalm 115:3; 1 Chronicles 29:11–12
The Trinity
We believe that the one God eternally exists in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — coequal in power, glory, and majesty.
The Father plans and ordains all things, the Son accomplishes redemption, and the Spirit applies that redemption to the hearts of believers. Scriptures: Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14;
Ephesians 1:3–14; John 14:16–17; 1 Peter 1:2

Ephesians 1:3–14; John 14:16–17; 1 Peter 1:2
Scripture
We believe that the Bible — consisting of the Old and New Testaments — is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
It is the final standard for all truth, faith, and life., and Christians are meant to submit to its authority. Through Scripture, God reveals Himself, convicts of sin, proclaims salvation, and instructs His people in righteousness. Scriptures: 2 Timothy 3:16–17;
2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 19:7–11; John 17:17; Hebrews 4:12

Mankind
We believe that humanity was created in the image of God, in order to glorify and enjoy Him forever. Yet through Adam’s disobedience, sin entered the world, and all people have inherited a sinful nature. Because of sin, mankind stands guilty before a holy God, spiritually dead and unable to save himself. Scriptures: Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:10–12;
Romans 5:12; Ephesians 2:1–3; Isaiah 53:6
Romans 5:12; Ephesians 2:1–3; Isaiah 53:6
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God — fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and perfectly fulfilled the law of God. Through His substitutionary death on the cross, He bore the penalty for our sins. He rose bodily from the grave, triumphing over sin, death, and the powers of darkness. Scriptures: John 1:1, 14; Luke 1:34–35
Hebrews 4:15; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Colossians 2:13–15
Hebrews 4:15; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Colossians 2:13–15
Redemption
We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, we are forgiven, justified, adopted into God’s family, and granted eternal life. The Holy Spirit indwells believers, transforming them into the image of Christ and empowering them to live in obedience and faithfulness to God. Scriptures: Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 3:23–26;
John 3:16–18; Titus 3:4–7; Romans 8:14–17
John 3:16–18; Titus 3:4–7; Romans 8:14–17
The Church
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ — made up of all believers who have been redeemed by His blood and regenerated by His Spirit. The local church exists to glorify God through worship, the preaching of the Word, the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper, prayer, fellowship, and mission. Each believer is called to serve and build up the body in love. Scriptures: Ephesians 1:22–23;
1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Acts 2:42–47; Matthew 28:18–20;
Hebrews 10:24–25
1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Acts 2:42–47; Matthew 28:18–20;
Hebrews 10:24–25
Marriage and Family
We believe that God created marriage to be a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, reflecting the union of Christ and His Church. We affirm the sanctity of human life and the divine design of family as the foundation for flourishing societies and faithful discipleship. Scriptures: Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6;
Ephesians 5:22–33; Psalm 139:13–16; Deuteronomy 6:6–7
Ephesians 5:22–33; Psalm 139:13–16; Deuteronomy 6:6–7
Christian Life and Vocation
We believe that every area of life belongs to Christ.
As Abraham Kuyper said, “There is not a square inch in the whole domain of our human existence over which Christ, who is Sovereign over all, does not cry, ‘Mine!’” Therefore, we seek to live under the lordship of Jesus in our homes, workplaces, relationships, and culture — doing all things for the glory of God. Scriptures:
Colossians 3:17; 1 Corinthians 10:31; Romans 12:1–2
Colossians 1:16–18; Matthew 28:18
