Crossfire Mission:
"to be a hospitable, Christ-Centered community"
Crossfire Values

Hospitality
“Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God" I Peter 4:9-10 (NKJV)
At Crossfire Church, hospitality is more than a checklist of something to do, such as smiling at people as they walk in the door. instead, real hospitality is openness, authenticity, realness; it's knowing that you are welcome and that people are genuinely glad to see you.. You don't have to be told a place is hospitable - you know whether or not it is hospitable or not the moment you walk in.
From the very beginning, hospitality has been part of who we are. It was never a strategy; it was simply our particular personality as a church. We usually would rather share stories over a plate of red beans and rice than run another program, because connection happens best in the homes, around tables, people doing life together.
Our goal is that every person who walks through our doors — whether it’s their first time or their fiftieth — feels like they’ve come home. Because when people feel seen, loved, and known, they catch a glimpse of the heart of God

Community
“Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common.… they continued daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart.” Acts 2:44–47 (NKJV)
Real community isn’t built by trying to “be a community.” That rarely works. Authentic community happens when real people - from all different backgrounds, stories, struggles - all gather around the same cross.
There at the cross, each one of us lays down our pride, prejudice, superiority - all the things that sour relationships. At the cross, we see that we are the same sinners, in need of the same Savior; and this fills us with the same gratefulness - gratefulness for His goodness, gratefulness for His blood that cleanses us from all sin. This is the basis for real community. It is the cross (not our good intentions) that brings us together.
For that reason, our gatherings revolve around Christ - from our small groups, dinner table conversations, ministry work, and parties.. We lift up Christ, and He draws us closer to Himself, and also to each other.— just like He promised.

Life-speaking
“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.” — Ephesians 4:29 (NKJV)
At Crossfire Church, we believe words carry weight — they can either tear down or build up, curse or bless, wound or heal. That’s why we choose to speak life wherever we go.
Our goal is to be a community where people walk away encouraged, strengthened, and reminded of who they are in Christ.
We want to be the kind of church where you find out people are talking good behind your back — calling out your gifts, not your flaws. Life speaking means we guard our words and use them to edify others, not to gossip or criticize. Words either build up, or tear down. We choose to be builders.
